The Mentorship Program of Hemofarm Foundation started with a full-day training where the mentors – Hemofarm Group experts, met their mentees – scholarship holders from the faculties of medicine, pharmacy, technology and biology of Serbian Universities, and participated in the training, the aim of which was to introduce the participants to the basic rules of relationships between the mentors and mentees in order to develop a successful mentorship relation. The training, organised in partnership with H.art Development Centre, was held on the premises of Hemofarm Business Centre in Belgrade.



Hemofarm Foundation initiated the Mentorship Program in 2017, as an additional support to personal and professional development of scholarship holders, future experts in the field of healthcare and pharmaceutical industry. The Program, among other, involves development of soft skills, acquiring knowledge and practical experience necessary for personal and professional progress, creating positive environment for employment of young people and motivating them to apply their knowledge in Serbia.

“I was a mentor last year as well, because I really like the Program and working with young people. I find it important to share my knowledge with them and motivate them to work in the industry. However, I also find it important to learn about their perspectives and attitudes, which are not restrained by conventions of a working environment“, said one of the mentors, Bojana Podgorac, Business Development Project Senior Manager of Hemofarm Group.



“I find it extremely important to develop my profile and find my own way so that I could best contribute to the healthcare system of our country“, pointed out Jovana Vulić, Student of Faculty of Pharmacy of Belgrade University.



Momčilo Adamović, Student of Faculty of Biology of Belgrade University says that “lifelong learning is important because it steers us in the right direction. We become better, more competent people, we acquire a broader base, a different spectre of knowledge and skills, that help us reach the goals we wish to accomplish in the right way.“



“The Mentorship Program means a lot to me because it offers a possibility for exchange of experience and acquiring new knowledge from experts. I hope for a long-term cooperation with the professionals from this industry, which will help me in my further professional improvement”, said Nina Stanisavljević, Student of Faculty of Technology of Novi Sad University.



Over the 30 years of its activity, Hemofarm Foundation supported 3,720 young people, many of whom are our colleagues today and leading experts in their fields.
