YOU CAN DO IT

Hemofarm Foundation Program for Education YOU CAN DO IT is intended for the best students, who are willing to change the world for the better and be the leaders in their communities. Foundation supports them through scholarship, mentorship, and internship programs, as well as the Alumni group providing them with the possibility to be liaised with successful members from different generations. Supported by the experts of different departments at Hemofarm AD company, our scholarship holders acquire not only the work experience, but also the motivation to care for people’s health and the wellbeing of the community in Serbia.

The students of the final year of basic / integrated academic studies at medical, pharmaceutical, technological, biological, chemical, technical faculties of electrical and mechanical engineering and the faculty of technical sciences, majoring in graphic engineering and design, who are financed from the budget of the Republic of Serbia, can apply for YOU CAN DO IT program. The condition is that they have achieved an average grade of at least 8.50 in their previous studies.

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Every October, we announce a competition for scholarship holders within the Program through which we have supported 3720 young people, our current Alumni group members, over the course of 30 years.

The competition is open for the final year students of basic / integrated academic studies at medical, pharmaceutical, technological, biological, chemical, technical faculties of electrical and mechanical engineering and the faculty of technical sciences, majoring in graphic engineering and design, who are financed from the budget of the Republic of Serbia. The condition is that they have achieved an average grade of at least 8.50 in their previous studies.

The Program includes 10 scholarships, and apart from the average grade and financial standing of the students, one of the criteria in the selection of scholarship holders is the result of the selection that we organize in partnership with Hemofarm’s HR department.

The selected scholarship holders are provided with:

Monthly financial support in the amount of 11,741 dinars

Opportunity for personal and professional development within the Mentorship Program

Opportunity for internship within the Internships Program

Opportunity to be a part of the Alumni group, liaise with their colleagues, share knowledge, and expand their contact network

MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

We launched the Mentorship Program in 2017, as an additional support to personal and professional development of our scholarship holders, future experts in the field of healthcare and pharmaceutical industry.

We have thoughtfully selected the local and international experts who will best convey to students the knowledge about communication skills, successful presentation to the employer, leadership, public health, modern medical practice, functional medicine, neuromarketing, activism in the community.

Many of the mentors, experts of Hemofarm AD company were themselves the Hemofarm Foundation scholarship holders, and precisely through that program, they got their first chance to work in the company.

INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

Through the Internship Program, our scholarship holders are provided with the opportunity to gain both practical knowledge and work experience in various departments of Hemofarm AD company. The Program includes three weeks of professional training at the following departments:

Marketing - possibility of implementing the program in towns in which company Marketing & Sales divisions operate (Novi Sad, Kragujevac, Niš, Vršac, Šabac, Beograd)

The Internship Program is implemented at Hemofarm AD in Serbia and Germany. According to the needs of the company and based on evaluation conducted at the end of the Program, the students will be provided with the possibility to be employed with Hemofarm AD. The chance to work in a successful company also means an opportunity for further professional growth and development of our scholarship holders.

HEMOFARM FOUNDATION ALUMNI

Hemofarm Foundation Alumni group comprises 3720 of our scholarship holders to date. Through the Alumni group, we liaise various generations of scholarship holders and strengthen the network of highly educated staff, ready to assume various leadership positions and promising jobs.

Our Alumni group members include university, institutes, multinational corporations staff. We are particularly proud of the scholarship holders who are the members of the scientific team of the Broad Institute of MIT-Harvard and are involved in one of the greatest projects in the field of medicine – ‘The Atlas of Human Cells’.

We organize the alumni event once a year for all of them, at which they can make acquaintances, exchange information, experience, ideas, and visions. The journey through the world of science and innovation never ends.
